2012 Membership Flyer

                          2012  MWTS  MEMBERSHIP  RULES

1. 2012  Membership fee is $ 150.00.

2.  2012 Purse Snatchers Points Fund fee is $ 100.00.

      IF YOU PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEE AND PURSE SNATCHERS POINTS FUND FEE

      BY APRIL 30, 2012, YOU SAVE $25.00.

      IF YOU PAY BEFORE APRIL 30,2012 THE TOTAL IS $225.00.

 a) If a member brings in a $500.00 sponsor for MWTS, his/her annual membership

      fee for 2012 is waived.

 b) If a member brings in a $1000.00 sponsor for MWTS, ( in any combination),

      his/her annual membership fee for 2012; and; his/her 2012 Purse Snatchers

      Points Fund fee are both waived.

 c) Membership fee > MUST BE PAID IN FULL< > RECIEPT IN HAND < > BEFORE  the

      1st Qualifing Round of the FIRST race that you want to recieve MWTS

      membership payout or bonus monies. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 d) New members may join at anytime during the season.

 e) You must be a MWTS member and have run 1 MWTS series race before you

       can recieve any extra bonus monies payout. > The only exception is for the

       first race of the year, since no one has raced a previous race.

 f) Purse Snatchers Points Fund fee > MUST BE PAID IN FULL < > RECIEPT IN HAND <

      > BEFORE  the 1st Qualifing Round of the FIRST race that you want to recieve

      MWTS points. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 g) If you run 1 Round of  Qualifing and HAVE NOT PAID your fees > YOU WILL NOT

      BE PAID AS A MWTS MEMBER. NO BONUS MONIES  and  NO POINTS  will be

      issued!   THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

3.  2012 MWTS Race Day Entry fee is $ 125.00.

      This is to be paid to MWTS.

      This is YOUR responsibility to go and pay this.

       and it  is possible that there is track fees payable to the track. ( such as head

       count fees and/or tech card fees.)

4.  2012 MWTS Membership Forms.

 a) You must fill out a 2012 MWTS Membership Form and Website Form.

 b) You must fill out a W-9 tax form for the treasurer's year end report.         

5.  2012 MWTS Contact Call List

 a) A new 2012 Contact List will be made available to every member.

 b) Any questions or concerns, please direct to your contact person.

6.  RACE VEHICLES

 a) Your race vehicle must pass NHRA Technical Inspections. You should be

       prepared for any Tech Inspection.

7.  MWTS  Rules.

a) You must sign up BEFORE your first race as Team Drivers. ( father/son, father/

      daughter, owner/driver, etc.). BOTH DRIVERS MUST BE MWTS MEMBERS.

 b) You may only drive for 1 team. You can have only those 2 drivers for this season.

      You cannot add someone later into the season. We have this as a benefit to you,

      and MWTS. If for instance you are sick, have a wedding or funeral, etc., you can

      still have your car go to the race and not lose any points. WE need car count

      at every race. Low car count, less money to payout.

 c) If during the season, you get a new race vehicle, the points you have

      accumulated in Purse Snatchers will stay with you and your new vehicle.

8.  SPONSORS

 a) QUARTER-MAX Chassis and Racing Components is our 2012 Racing Series

      Sponsor. QUARTER-MAX decals WILL BE ON ALL MEMBERSHIP VEHICLES.

      ABSOLUTELY  NO  EXCEPTIONS !!!!!

      This is the only thing that they ask of us for their continued support!!!

      And WE WILL, with GRATITUDE and RESPECT display the QUARTER-MAX

      decal.

 b) Any other decal provided to us by a sponsor donating a $1000.00 or more,

      WILL BE ON ALL MEMBER VEHICLES.  NO EXCEPTIONS !!!

 c) Any MWTS member vehicle, NOT DISPLAYING  the required decals; who

      wins, runner-ups, or is in any round money, WILL NOT BE PAID as a MWTS

      member! You will recieve only non-member payout. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

 d) It is YOUR  responsibility to see that you have these required decals. If

      MWTS is out of a required decal, it will be noted that you came to get it,

      and you will be considered in compliance with the rule.

 e) Any other sponsor donating UNDER $1000.00, who have decals, can also

       request that we display theirs, but WILL NOT BE REQUIRED. We would,

       however, encourage you to do so. All of our sponsors, no matter how

       much they donate, are generously supporting us, adding monies to

       your payouts. Please, acknowledge them by displaying their decals,

       and saying  to them, THANK-YOU.

       PLEASE TRY AND SUPPORT ALL OUR SPONSORS, SO THAT WE CAN

       CONTINUALLY RECIEVE THEIR SPONSORSHIP. THANK-YOU.

9.  AT THE TRACK

 a) The qualifing and elimination time schedule will be up to the tracks.

      Please, be ready to move to staging when we are called. Don't wait if

      you are ready. Waiting to the last second only makes us look bad and

      irritates the track officials.

 b) You will get a stand-by call. You will have 10 minutes from the 1st call

      to the lanes, to get to staging. You will get a 5 minutes till lanes are

      closed call.

 c) If you have a mechanical problem and need more time, you have to let

     a MWTS committee man know. He can see if we can get alittle more time.

 d) We will be posting qualifing sheets and ladders, as soon as we get them

       from the track.

 e) We all have bad days at the track, Please consider that their may be

       spectators, young and old, roaming through our pits, and watching in the

stands. Their could be potential sponsors. Try and hold your emotions

       till you get back to your trailers or motorhomes, etc.  THANK-YOU.

 f) If you have a problem, take it to a committee man. Please, be remindful

     that they too are racing, but that they will do their best to handle a problem

     or get it to a track official. We DO NOT want our members running up to

     the track towers and complaining. Let a MWTS Committee man or

     Board Member do it for you.  THANK-YOU.

10. PAYOUTS

   a) You must be a MWTS member to recieve any Bonus Monies.

   b) Payout sheet is based on a 25 car field. Payout sheets are available to all

        members.

   c) Someone enters a race who is not a MWTS member, and does not want

       to join, will be paid out half the money as a member. Winner, runner-up,

       and all round monies.

11.  PURSE SNATCHERS POINTS

   a) Points will be kept at each MWTS race for MWTS members who have

        paid the fee to be in the points.

   b) The TOP 5  in points at the end of the season, will share in the  money

        provided for Purse Snatchers.

   c) If you have paid your entry at a race and it rains. The track official has

        cancelled the race. You will get 10 points for being there.

   d) All MWTS races will count. THERE ARE NO THROW-OUTS.

12.  TOP GUN SHOOTOUT

   a) Points will be kept for every member at every race for the Top Gun

        Shootout.

   b) Points will be given to the top half of the field at all our MWTS races.

   c) For instance: If there is 22 cars, the top 11 in the field will get points.

        The 11th qualifier will get 1 point, the 10th will get 2 points, and so

        on down to the number 1 qualifier who would get 11 points.

        Please, keep in mind during the season, that you will be voting for

        1. Driver of the Year

        2. Most Improved Driver

        3. Crew Chief of the Year

        4. "Good Guy" Award

        5. Family of the Year

        6. Tough Luck Award
